英语口语，发音到底应该怎么练，怎么学呢？就好比每次见到外国人时中国人都爱问的一个问题：why do you come to china? 而对于学生的这个问题我总是这么回答，那就是首先一定要有兴趣，俗话说的还是有道理的，“知之者不如好之者，好之者不如乐之者”。其实新东方老师一个很大的使命就是让大家对英语这个东西产生兴趣，想接触它，走完这一步，你就基本完成了建立口语大厦的80%，就好比完成一个任务前做好详细的计划是完成这个任务的80%一样。同样喜欢nba，喜欢好莱坞的电影，喜欢voa，cnn等都可以成为你喜欢英语的一个理由。有的时候，人就是缺少那么一个理由。

英语口语练习二：

要明确理解口语的重要性，先暂且不提口语好会产生一种莫大的成就感，而成就感是兴趣的原动力。大家注意观察会发现一般英语很好的人口语也不会差到哪里去，那是因为英语是一种拼音文字，相比于中文这种象形文字，英语的发音在一定程度上决定了它的写法，所以我常说用发音背单词是最好的方法。任何一个语言的学习顺序都是先有听说再到读写的，这一点从我们母语的学习过程中就能体会到。而且发音与口语的好坏同时也决定了你的听力水品，所以说我们怎能不学好口语呢。

要有信心，也就是传说中的厚脸皮，即敢说。我一直教授的一个班的班名很好玩，叫做“听力口语开口班”。在这个班上我特别重视的是让大家开口，我努力让学生们坐在那里说，和别人说还有站到大家面前演讲，这时你会发现敢说的程度和你说的好坏有时是成正比的，是一个循环，如果你有“impossible means i am possible”的信念并且敢说的话，你的就是良性循环，否则就是恶性的。

然后就上升到方法论上了。对于学习的方法首先第一点大家一定要用好口语学习的资料，这个资料可以是一些英语的网站，电影，voa，bbc，cnn，书本教材，报纸杂志等资源。在使用这些资料中的一种或几种时我们最好是听觉学习和视觉学习结合（学习方法分三种，听觉学习，视觉学习和触觉学习），也就是说看一本书最好有这本书对应的音频。当然有条件的话最好是给自己创造真实的学习环境，比如说和老外聊天等触觉学习，因为我们学习英语的一大弊端就是没有真实的语言环境。

在学习的过程中一定要注意纠正自己的发音，这时你最好有一个伙伴，能让他帮你纠正你的发音，发音有误的例子比比皆是。记得在我课上请一位学生做一个题为one world, one dream的演讲，他说道“when i open my ass（本来意思是eyes眼睛）”，eyes发成了ass，ass能open么，让人啼笑皆非。当然犯的错误越多，对你的发音矫正就越好了。

同时大家在学英语，特别是学习口语的过程中一定要重视与别人的合作，努力做到双赢。有一次我在班里讲到shopping这一主题时，请大家自由组合作对话，结果令我分外感动的是竟然有十个人合成一个小组作对话，分别扮演一个大家庭中的各种角色及商场的售货员停车场管理员等角色。大家兴致高涨，你一言我一语，场景对话做得也非常的好，他们中有一些还是平时很少说话的，他们的精彩表现赢得了其他人的热烈掌声，可见团体的合作对于自己的发展有多么的重要，那次也成为我记忆最深的一节课。
