For the two months of summer vacation, I want a full, so I had the pleasure of reading the famous French novelist Maupassant's "Boule de Suif"。 In addition to the book "Boule de Suif", there are other three stories, and I personally enjoy "Boule de Suif" this one.
The contents of this paper is based on the background of the Franco Prussian War, the hero is a living in the bottom of society, discrimination of prostitutes, a French coach before leaving the territory, was a Prussian Officer detained officers asked Boule de Suif to spend the night with him, otherwise the coach will not pass, but the ball of fat for his patriotism, resolutely refused. But with the car on the identity of the passengers for their own interests, in order to force her to sacrifice themselves, under the ruthless threat, suet ball was forced to make a choice, you saved. However, when second of the passengers when the car Tian Yi, a ruthless alienate her, and she no longer speak. As if she were a virus, she pletely forgot that her freedom was in exchange for her own sacrifice.
The article with the succinct language, strong contrast, those people who have noble hypocrisy, elegant appearance of the ugly face to reveal the most incisive wonder about these hypocrites the resentment of the heart, beauty and ugliness of human nature to show up, impersonal, for the period of French politics, egoistic society let more, we should treat each other sincerely, people feel full of love and help each other under the atmosphere of society is very warm. At the same time, we are lucky to think that we are not living in the extraordinary circumstances. But if we do not know how to cherish, and people are wearing a "Mask", the way people are seeking whether can benefit from them, then our society will bee very dim, there is no laughter. I do not want to see such a society exists, but also requires us to be honest with each other, trust each other and help each other. Every little bit to build it up, if you plant the seeds you false display of affection, will only get baoqingguay
i fruit.
I believe that each person will be happy when he is sincere. It's pathetic to wear masks and money related relationships, so we need to eliminate the barriers in good faith. With sincerity to move around the relatives and friends, to create a harmonious, happy society! Let this world is full of love.

Reading "the weakness of human nature" is very beneficial. This book is dale Carnegie thoughts and essence of career, he was not very deep reason to interpret, but through the life of a common story, finally it is concluded that the principle of lines easy to understand, unearthed from the perspective of human nature hidden behind the many weaknesses in the human body. It is like a mirror, which brings out the most common and unobserved flaws of our own. It makes me feel how to improve myself in the future life and work, and let me know how to get along with others better.
First of all, in daily life, when there are some people or things make you feel uncomfortable, don't be desperate to condemn others, and should try to understand them, find out why they do it. It is more rewarding and effective than criticism, and it also inspires us to be compassionate, patient, and virtuous.

Hamlet " of Shakespear is a classical representative work. This book certainly does not have the big difference in the superficial plot with the historical fable, spoke or the Danish prince the story which revenged for the father, in which fills the rank smell of blood violence and dies.Just like the dramatis personae Horatio said: " you may hear to to rape massacre, the unusual repair behavior, the dark center decision, accidental slaughter, borrows the hand murder ,
as well as falls into suicide result." Windingly elects the plot, tightly centers on the revenge to launch. Hamlet Wittenberg hurries back the home in a hurry from Germany, is attends his fathers funeral, ,enables him to accept, he not catches up with fathers funeral, actually witnessed the mother and the Uncle Claudius wedding ceremony, this had caused Hamm the Wright suspicion at the heart, added night above meets in the royal palace castle with fathers ghost, the ghost sorrow sued, this pile atrocity was Uncle Hamlet the behavior, and wanted him to revenge for the this, he started the difficult revenge course, launched the life and death contest with Claudius. Like a needle quickly ed into the vein, Wu Xuan’s novella Hair Salon draws blood right from the beginning. Despite its terse sentences, unsentimental tone, and smooth language, it explores an uncomfortable scenario with dualities. As readers, we are told by the narrator that his younger sister will be opening up a hair salon in the same city where he teaches history in a middle school. However, hair salon is a misnomer because it doesn’t offer haircuts at all. Situated in a forgotten alley behind the railway station, the salon provides two main services of shampooing and massage, with a largely male clientele.
Instead of elaborating on the relationship between the siblings, the story traces the path Sister Fang Yuan take from a country girl to an owner of the hair salon / massage parlour in the city and the reactions of people along the way, including her brother the narrator, his wife, her parents, relatives and fellow villagers. However, given the scope of the issues involved, the novella doesn’t expand on many threads it generates but simply puts the characters into prototypes, not withstanding a shocking twist in the end. Whether it is the narrator, Fang Yuan and her husband Li Peilin, each person represents many more out there. Even though things happen to them, they are not really always in control but merely being dragged along by a bigger force. More importantly, once they enter the city, everyone is just a part of the locomotives that carry China forward; and there is no way back.
Although there are moments when I wish our characters could be more multi-dimensional, what I like about Wu Xuan is his ability to elevate the tragic to a comical level, so that the readers may ponder between tears and laughter. For example, an anecdote in the novella concerns one of narrator’s fellow villagers, who weeps for her daughter killed by infanticide fifteen years earlier, because had she been alive, she would have being able to improve her family’s lot by working at a massage parlour.
Such is the humour, wit and the acerbic tone Wu Xuan employs in his story telling and one cannot help but sense a wounded pleasure at the end. His work demonstrates that fiction is still the best way to tell the truth.

I watched The Titanic today. In fact, I have seen it two times. It is the third time for me to watch it. I saw this film with my elder female cousin when I was young. I remember that she cried when Rose and Jack jumped into the sea. I didn’t know why she cried. I just wondered how cold it is! The sea was very cold and it was colder at night. I thought it must be a disaster film at that moment because many bodies floating on the sea.
I saw it second time when I graduated from middle school. I had nothing to do on that summer holiday. So I decided to see one or two films every day. I wanted to cry when I see Rose and Jack jumped into the sea. Then Jack made Rose lay on a wooden board. He wanted Rose to marry with other man if she was still alive. I cried when Rose released Jack’s hands and promised to Jack. Then Jack sank into the sea. I thought I knew why my cousin cried then. The love between Jack and Rose was very touching.
This time I noticed other people. People were scared when the water rushed into the ship. They decided to make women and children go on lifeboats because there were no enough lifeboats. Rose’s fiancé gave money to a sailor so that he could go on the lifeboat. However, the sailor refused and threw the money on his face. At last, he go on the lifeboat with a little girl. I think he was selfish. However, some people on the ship were warm-hearted. The band still performed before the ship sank into the sea. An old couple lay(www.kaoyantv.com) on the bed and the water around their bed. And a mother told stories to her children. It shows us human nature when disaster happened.
The Titanic is one of the most classic movies. I think it never goes out of style. In my opinion, some film should be seen several times. Then you will have different feelings.

Let me just start by saying that I had been put off reading Thomas Hardye by Dickens. Having really struggled with Dickens and resorted to audio I had wrongly assumed that all 19C liturature was the same. How wrong I could be. From the first paragraph where the opening character farmer Gabriel Oak is desribed smiling, ‘the corners of his mouth spread till they were an unimportant distance from his ears‘ I fell in love with Hardy‘s narrative. His ability to use words that lift the description off the page and into the reader‘s imagination are not just outstanding but incredibly enjoyable.
I went into this book blindly, knowing little about the plot that lay ahead or even the genre. It has been described by some as romantic fiction. But I think this is too simplistic a title and and maybe slightly off-putting to some. Hardye steps into Greek Tragedy when the unwitting and churlish actions of our young protagonist, Bathsheba Everdene, result in a love tryst between three suitors with tragic consequenses.
The book is essentially a journey for Bathsheba into womanhood not unlike the journey that Scarlett O‘Hara makes in Gone with the Wind who also has to overcome great tragedy in order to realise her own strength. Unlike this heroin, however, Bathsheba is more the instrument of chaos and indecion and part of her journey is that she accepts what she has caused and tries to make it right.
Hardye avoids making this into moral stricture but deviates from the Greek Tragedy model by giving us a happy ending not atypical of 19C serialised fiction.
Quite often an author‘s voice creeps into their writing and the reader becomes aware that they are not in fact walking the hills and dales of fictional Wessex but are at the pen nib of a writ
