Upon graduation, virtually all college students will confront the problem of the career choice，which is truly a tough choice. Students opinions differ greatly on this issue. Some hold that there is no better way to get a decent job than working in a stated-owned business which will guarantee my life after retirement, but others take the attitude that a joint venture outweighs any other jobs as it may provide higher income for employees.

As to myself, I prefer the latter view. A joint venture, especially a high-salary joint venture, exerts a tremendous fascination on a great number of people, with no exception to me. Although it might be impossible to make sure my retirement pension is good enough, high-salary is exactly what I need just now. In my view, our career choices largely depend on where we want to stay for the rest of life. For me, metropolis is the place where I can grasp loads of opportunities and achieve my personal dreams. As I hold the view that live in the moment, not the future, and also in order to finance myself in some aspects such as the transportation, the house-renting, or social activities, a joint venture can satisfy my needs for the consumption I mentioned above.

In short, a joint venture is the first and only consideration in my choice of career.

When talking about the course which impresses me the most, I will certainly choose Basic

Chemical Experiment. As a student of science, I am always fascinated with the magic in test tubes, and from this course I gained more than pure knowledge.

To begin with, this course provides us opportunities to put theories into practices. The

experiments helped us testify and better understand what we have learned in books. Besides, by designing experimental procedures of own, we became more flexible and innovative.

Moreover, I also developed other skills that required outside labs through this course. For example,

to be focused and careful when proceeding a task, to be patient and calm when facing failures, and to communicate properly when you need someone else to cooperate. These can be very valuable assets to your life.

Basic Chemical Experiment influenced me not only on academic field but also on daily affairs,

therefore it’s the most impressing course to me.

For one thing, when it is beyond our ability, we should give a direct reply “no”。 For another, we the thing we are asked for is unreasonable or even illegal, we should say “no” without hesitation.

However, it is not the case in our real life. Many people prefer to say “yes” when they should say “no”。 Some are afraid to lose their face, since they think refusal means their inability. Some people are afraid to offend their acquaintances’ face, such as their friends, relatives and so on.

In fact, doing so is quite harmful. If you agree to do the things beyond your ability, the result will only be worse. The other might as well have asked another person who can help. And if you agree to do the unreasonable or even the illegal favors, such as cheating in the exam, you are in fact not helping the other but hurting him. You yourself will get into trouble too.

What’s worse , indulging in the virtual world for a long time, they are more liable to suffer mental problem and physical collapse. In short,I cannot see any benefits from online should be the primary concern of college students. Therefore,I do hope they can step away from online games.
