Introduction to E-sports

Recently,I have noticed a common phenomenon that before class,most of the students play mobile games to kill time,like cool running ereryday,2048,link game and so on.I’m sure that most of you like playing mobile games for fun,but you probably don’t know that the game is also a kind of ,let me introduce e-sports to all of you.

Electronic sports,using of high-tech hardware and software as equipments,is a kind of intellectual-confrontational sport.You might think,are you kidding?what you have said is not computer games?Oh,I’m not kidding.E-sports is different from computer games,just for fun.E-sports is a kind of sports.Itis quantitative,repeatable,and accurately comparable.E-sports has the characteristics of confrontation and competition,unified game rules and the same techniques,daily work and long,boring training.In short,the e-sports is a kind of sport,in which the equipments and conditions are realized by IT.This is the essential difference between e-sports and computer games.

Indifference is a terrible disease in today’s colleges and the whole society. It’s not rare that two students who have studied together for 4 years have never spoken to each other. It’s not rare that a student who has been absent from class for several days is not noticed at all. It’s also not rare that a student who has severe psychological problems is not cared about at all. Some people may say ‘What the students with psychological problems like Ma JiaJue need is not care but psychotherapy.” However, when people are ill, what they need most is not only medical treatment, but also care from people around them. The reason why I like this song is the song brings me courage to make my dreams come true. Just like the song say “I believe I can fly! I believe I can touch the sky”。 You know I still dream about being a witch like Harry Potter and live in the wizardly world, to use my powers to save the day, like stopping the World Trade center from falling down, or stopping the war on Iraq…I know being a witch is impossible, but to make our world a better place is definitely possible.

Besides being a witch I also want to be an archaeologist, an Egyptologist. I want to go to Egypt, to discover the beauty of this ancient civilization.
